General Funding Awards
Applications are welcome for general assistance projects which fall outside the scope of the Bursary Award Scheme and which can demonstrate a benefit to the wider UK forestry sector.
To assist applicants in preparing the best possible case to the Trust, we have prepared a short guidance note, which indicates the criteria that Trustees are looking for in completed applications. The guidance note is available here.
If you have already discussed your project concept and are ready to submit an application for general funding assistance to The Scottish Forestry Trust, the application form to use is available here.
At the time of making an application, applicants are expected to have formal approval for at least 70% of funding (including the sum requested from the Trust). The balance of funding should be approved and available to the project within 3 months of the date of the formal contract issued by the Trust. Failure to do so may result in the offer from the Trust being withdrawn
